Patrick Henry graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in 1974. After graduating he served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Berkely County, West Virginia while also practicing general litigation as a solo practitioner. He was elected as a judge to the then 31st Circuit Court of Martinsburg, WV (now 23rd Judicial Circuit) in 1985 and retained that position until 1992. Patrick then joined the firm Wallace, Harris, & Sims until 1994 when he joined as a partner in Henry, Taylor, & Janelle. During the years of both firms Patrick was involved in General Litigation.

In February of 1999, Patrick once again opened a solo practice in general litigation, focusing in Mediation, Abritration, General Litagation, Land Use, and Divorce represesntation. Utilizing his experience as a judge, Patrick has conducted over 2,000 mediations through Court Annexed Mediation Program and independently. Mr. Henry also serves as both a private and Court appointed Arbitrator and Discovery Commissioner in the 23rd Judicial Circuit, and as a Special Commissioner in condemnation hearings.

Patrick has been admitted to practice before the West Vigrinia Supreme Court of Appeals; United State District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of WV; and various Circuit Courts throughout West Virginia. He is a member of the West Virginia State Bar, Berkeley County Bar Association, and the Tri-County Family Law Bar.

Patrick resides in Martinsburg, WV with his wife, Linda. They have 3 grown children and are proud grandparents of 2 grandchildren.
